With more than 60 emergency practices using Mediris Wacht, we continue to expand our software with new integrations and improvements. To keep all emergency practices informed of these developments, we organize a user meeting twice a year. During these sessions, we present the latest developments, share our plans for the future, and give emergency practice coordinators a behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing evolution of Mediris Wacht.
Below you’ll find some of the innovations presented during the first user meeting of 2026.
Mediris Wacht in a new look
We keep refining the user experience. Mediris Wacht has received a fresh update with a more modern look and a clearer layout. Buttons have been repositioned more logically and the interface looks a lot more contemporary, while the familiar way of working has been preserved.

Digital triage with MINDD
Within the pilot project “Moet ik naar de dokter?” (Do I need to see a doctor?, MINDD), we are exploring how digital triage can help reduce the pressure on general practitioners.
Patients fill out an online questionnaire and immediately receive advice. If a consultation isn’t necessary, they’re informed of this right away. If a consultation does turn out to be advisable, the completed information is automatically forwarded to Mediris Wacht. The patient can then immediately book an appointment at the emergency practice, so the care provider already has the necessary information on hand.

Coming soon: integration with Nexuzhealth Consult
We are currently working on an integration with Nexuzhealth Consult, which will soon allow general practitioners to access a patient’s complete hospital record with a single click from within Mediris Wacht. This will give you access to more relevant information than what is currently available through the hubs alone.
In addition, the integration will make it possible, when needed, to directly schedule a hospital appointment for urgent care. Forms and questionnaires will also be easily forwarded digitally to the hospital or treating physician.
